CFE will suspend electricity service in 11 communities in Tabasco.

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) will carry out maintenance work in 11 communities in Tabasco, resulting in an eight-hour interruption of the electricity supply.

According to a statement from the agency, maintenance work will be performed on the General Distribution Network with the objective of improving the quality and continuity of electricity service in the region.

Maintenance crews will conduct preventive work in the municipalities of Centro and Centla from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Communities Affected by the Power Outage

Most of the communities where electricity service will be suspended are located in the municipality of Centro:

  • Chichicaste 3rd Section
  • Chichicaste 1st Section
  • Jalapita
  • Rivera San José
  • Villa Playas del Rosario
  • Lázaro Cárdenas
  • Ejido Revolución
  • Ejido Constancia y Venecia
  • Ignacio Allende
  • Veinte Guerrero

In the municipality of Centla, maintenance work will take place in:

  • Ranchería Quintín Arauz

Reasons for the Power Interruption and Reporting Outages

The Commission stated that the temporary suspension of service is necessary for safety reasons, both to protect its personnel and the general public.

Additionally, the CFE encourages residents to report any power outages or electrical service failures by calling 071.

Maintenance work on the electrical infrastructure is carried out continuously. On Friday, June 26, CFE maintenance crews were working in the La Chontalpa region.
