So far this year, the PVEM (Public Energy and Energy) has documented and reported five cases of bestiality to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) in Tabasco, which would place the state in first place for this type of animal abuse.
In this regard, Gabriela Sastré, a legal representative for the Green Party, explained that these incidents have occurred in Nacajuca, Jalpa de Méndez, Balancán, and Villahermosa, specifically near the “Dr. Juan Graham Casasús” hospital.
This comes after confirming the complaint against a person in the municipality of Balancán, who was exposed on social media abusing a dog and, according to comments, also practices bestiality with cats.
“Yes, there is an investigation file, there have been many cases of zoophilia. We have two cases of zoophilia in Nacajuca, and in Balancán, this person, specifically a resident of that neighborhood, has already been identified, but he’s a zoophile. They say, well, the neighbors tell me via text that he doesn’t just grab dogs, he grabs cats. So we’re going to ‘proceed to find’ this person. There’s another one here on Juan Graham that I already mentioned to my leader and also to the congressman, another zoophile. He actually has two little dogs and practically treats them like women because he’s raping them daily,” she indicated.
The member of the People’s Party (PVE) added that, in total, they have filed 43 complaints of animal abuse with the FGE. She also noted that there are other cases where the abusers are minors, one of which is documented in the municipality of Centla.
“A month ago, my leader and I published statistics showing that we had 27 investigation files. Now, after a month, we have 43 investigation files. We have cases of child abuse that, because they are minors, we cannot prosecute. There is justice for adolescents, but the punishment given to minors is not severe. There are minors in a high school in Centla who set fire to kittens; there has already been a complaint in Centla as well,” he commented.
