Another violent day in Tabasco; 7 people are executed in Villahermosa and Comalcalco

In the Indeco neighborhood of the capital, a confrontation left four dead, including three men and a woman, confirmed the spokesman of the governor

Tabasco is experiencing a violent day with reports of six executions in the state capital, Villahermosa and the municipality of Comalcalco, with the State Government assuring that order has already been restored.

The first versions of a confrontation in the Indeco neighborhood of Villahermosa circulated through social networks, where 4 men and a woman were allegedly executed, but the reasons are unknown.

On his X account, the spokesman for the governor, Fernando Vázquez, confirmed the death of the four people, assuring that it was a confrontation.

“In the vicinity of the Indeco neighborhood of Villahermosa, gunshots were reported, apparently due to a confrontation that ended with the death of four people.

The State Police are on site and are dealing with the situation. The Attorney General’s Office is awaiting the corresponding investigations. Order has been restored in the area,” he said.

So far there are no arrests in connection with these events, and the FGE has cordoned off the area for the removal of the bodies.

It also transpired that at a party in the Ranchería Zapotal 3rd section of the municipality of Comalcalco, an armed group broke in and executed 3 more people and left 2 wounded.

In total, 7 people have been executed in this bloody day in Tabasco.
