The Tabasco Health Secretariat reported that 609 new positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the last 24 hours, the highest number since the start of the pandemic in Tabasco.
On July 12, 2020, at the highest peak of the pandemic, Tabasco confirmed 497 positive cases for Coronavirus, and for this year, the highest registered figure was 476 new patients, numbers that were exceeded with the new record.
In addition to the 609 new infections, the Ministry of Health specified that active patients went from 3,502 to 3,558 in 24 hours, and hospitalized patients increased by nine in this period, for a cumulative 277 hospitalized for respiratory disease.
99 of those new cases are treated at the “Juan Graham Casasús” Hospital, 58 at the IMSS, 29 at the Tabasco Park Early Hospitalization Unit, while the ISSET, ISSSTE, and Pemex clinics report 17 hospitalized respectively.
As well as 10 in the General Hospital of Comalcalco, 9 in the Tenosique Hospital, 6 in the AIR hospital, 5 in the Angeles Hospital, 4 in the Women’s hospital and an equal number in the “Gustavo A. Rovirosa” Hospital, while in the children’s hospital “Rodolfo Nieto Padrón” there are two.
In its daily technical report, the local agency explained that in the case of distribution of patients by municipalities, Center registered 42,269 cases; Cárdenas, 8,094; Nacajuca, 7,268; Macuspana, 3,921; Comalcalco, 3,522; Jalpa de Méndez, 3,437; Paraiso, 3,428; and Cunduacán, 3,296.
The list is completed by Huimanguillo, with 2,564; Tenosique, 2,492; Centla, 1,669; Balancán, 541 thousand; Teapa 1,417; Jalapa 1,250; Emiliano Zapata, 1,070; Tacotalpa, 854 and Jonuta, with 644 cases.
